Il Berlino is beyond the physical and mental walls that lead and narrow the action fields of individuals.

A bar cannot be an art gallery? A musician an engineer? A painter cannot make sculptures or be a mayor? Not to mention gender, racial or social status discriminations…

When we started the restauration works the existence of many bearing walls almost inhibited the vision of a fluid space. At the contrary, they became a strong design focus. Physical or ideological, built or broken, walls mean reborn, curiosity discover for the individual, the community and artistic avant-gardes.

Which word evocates and represents better in our mind these emotions and ideas than
